MEET THE BRUBAKER FAMILY

JESSE AND NAOMI

Jesse was born and raised in Richmond VA. He grew up on a Christmas tree farm and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Jesse is passionate about living fully and loves people best through food experiences. He has a background in Mechanical engineering (Go Hokies!) and is always fixing and tinkering. God has been preparing Jesse's heart and professional skills to suit His plan. Jesse will be cooking up delicious meals for campers. He hopes to set the table with great food that will lead to conversations about the Lord.

Naomi was raise in a culturally Jewish household with 2 sisters. She longed for a deeper understanding and relationship with God. Her search for God and background in special education led her to a local church. God used Naomi's gifting with people with disabilities to transform her understanding of Christ. Her passion for advocacy for people with disabilities led her to Jesus, ministry and now missions in France. Naomi will focus her efforts in France to expand how the camp opens its doors to people with disabilities.

EVELYN, IDA AND VIRGINIA

The three girls are 8, 6 and 3. They love building with Legos, playing outside on their tree swing or climbing tree, reading and making beautiful art work. They are full of energy and spunk. They enjoy practicing their French at the dinner table.

SAMSON PABAM

Samson joined the crew in May 2020. He is a toy poodle ready for life in France. He loves running (he gets the "zoomies"), snuggling and is a perfect fit for our family. Samson's name is fitting as he gets lots of hair cuts, but unlike his biblical namesake it doesn't zap his strength!
